THOMAS M. CROKE, IV

Thomas Croke has spent 30 years in public and private practice primarily in the areas of real estate and administrative law and is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts in Pennsylvania and Massachusetts.  Tom has been counsel for many of the major title insurance underwriters in Pennsylvania: Lawyers Title, Ticor Title, Chicago Title, Stewart Title, Penn Title representing First American, United General Title, Fidelity National Title and Commonwealth Land Title.

Tom has been active with the Pennsylvania Land Title Association for many years and served as its President from 1999 to 2000. He is a member of the Professional Designation Society of PLTA and served as its Chair for four years.  Tom is also the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Pennsylvania Land Title Institute on which he has served as a Board member for 15 years.  He earned the professional designation of Certified Land Title Professional from the PLTA in 1994.  In addition, Tom received the Albert E. Pentecost service award from the PLTA in 1996.

 

Tom received his BA from LaSalle University in Philadelphia and his JD from Western New England College School of Law in Springfield, Massachusetts.  He has considerable teaching experience, having taught contracts, torts, uniform commercial code, partnerships, corporations and administrative law in Business Law I and II at the undergraduate level as well teaching Legal Research, Writing and Advocacy at the law school level and numerous continuing education and continuing legal education courses to title insurance practitioners and lawyers.
